DS v's Salvi

I have resolved to give up Dragon Questing (6, 9 and Swords). Well...one hit a day (maybe two). Ok. five at most. Mostly surreptitiously under the duvet once Mr D's lights have gone out, or in the bath, held aloft and hoping to minimize steam infiltration of the hand-held device. The treadmill/DS scenario is right out since a very near trip to casualty was involved, and narrowly escaped having to buy a new drum-kit.
I finished work, and on arriving home, got the DS business promptly out of the way. Five minutes max. Sorted. Right. Cymbeline, brace yourself.

(Cymbeline is my Salvi Ana. Melangell is my Border Wye, and Adhnuall is my Glenluce).

Ten minutes of tuning, having replaced a string last month.
Cup of tea.
Music having been alphabetized earlier this year, I went straight to the 50 or so pieces I have narrowed it down to for the next YouTube posting. I think I'll go for The Road to Lisdoonvarna. Lots of twiddly bits.
One would think an hour or so of practise would be easy. Sit...play..sorted.

Sat...played..almighty racket from the kitchen. (His royal highness needed feeding)
Sat...played...waft of something ungodly from the litter tray.
Sat...played...Her royal highness wanted the door opening an inch more to get her vast behind up to bed.
Sat...played...His royal highness refused to eat the filthy muck I'd previously served up. (Get yourself into the garden, Lou...go and play).
Sat...played...her royal highness wanted to sit on my knee. His royal highness had to make a nest on my music books. His royal highness then wanted a biscuit before going back into the garden. Her royal highness started choking so then had to have one of her tablets. Another cup o'tea, then the phone goes, and back I go to work.

Result.

Will try harder tomorrow.
